I don't even know how to begin this post other than to say I am glad I am not doing this from a hospital bed! This morning I had to run to the grocery store to pick up some groceries that I didn't make it home with last night (left a few bags), and on my way back I was going 40mph down one of our busier streets in town and a lady must have thought her light was green and turned right in front of me...I immediately blasted my horn and jerked my steering wheel to the left, all I could hear was screeching tires and screaming kids! We luckily missed this lady by seconds... I have to say it was the closest call I have ever had, and I had my most important treasures on board with me...all 3 of my beautiful little girls! I have to take some time to thank my Heavenly Father for watching over us and protecting us this morning! So often I get caught up in our daily schedule that I don't take the time to recognize all the things I am blessed with on a daily basis!
Right after that happened my girls were really shaken up and Bailey said "Mom, we were protected because there are angels around us all the time." I know that is true, but I also know that unfortunate things still happen to people all the time, so we do need to remember to take time each day and Thank our Heavenly Father for the many blessings we receive every day, even if you feel like things aren't going so well, just think about the fact that you were able to wake up this very morning and take a breath of air to spend another day with the ones you love!

Some more first's!!
Bailey lost her first tooth! I must admit, I cried a little, this little tooth was the very first tooth that came in, she is my oldest so of course this is all new to me, and I must admit, I want that tooth to go back in, I don't want her to keep growing up like this. I know she just started Kindergarten but if time keeps going by this fast, I swear I will wake up tomorrow morning and it will be her first day of High School! AHHHHHH!
She was so cute about this whole tooth ordeal! A few days ago she came up to me and said "Mom what's this?" She was rubbing her tongue on something in her mouth, so i said "I don't know open up and lets take a look", my first reaction was something like, "What the Heck!!!!!!!!!!!!" There was her adult tooth just jettin up behind her baby tooth, It looked so freaky. I could tell I was kinda scaring her so I tried to calm down as fast as I could and I said "oh, it looks like your getting a big kid tooth", I had no clue it was there! Her tooth has been loose for a while but not loose enough to yank out. I remembered this happening to my nephew so i called my Brother and Sis in law and asked them what they had to do, they said just wiggle the baby tooth til it comes out, then go see a dentist, but that the tooth should move into place as soon as the other one comes out and it has room.
Well, on Sunday afternoon Jarom and I talked Bailey into letting us wiggle her tooth and try to get it out. She wanted us to do it, but didn't want us to Yank... so we both just took turns wiggling at it trying to get it looser, At one point when I was working on it she said "Just get it out mommy! So I gave it a good yank, and sure enough out it came, at that instant I had a flood of emotions, I know it sounds silly, but I started to cry a little, along with Bailey. I think we both were so shocked and surprised we didn't know how to react. Here are some pictures...
The other first was Preslie eating real baby food! Peas to be specific, unfortunately nobody in this house likes Peas, but Preslie sure did, it was so cute. I'm sure if she could talk she would say, "What the Heck Mom, this is disgusting, give me some chocolate." But until then I guess I will keep crammin' the healthy stuff down her throat!

Preslie is 6 months old!!
I know I keep saying this, but time sure does fly by. I can't believe Preslie is 6 months old now. I seriously feel like we just came home from the hospital a few days ago. She is such a joy to have in our family! I couldn't have asked for a better baby. I think I have to say she is perfect, or at least as close to perfect as humanly possible! She is rolling all over now, and is even starting to crawl! I'm definitely not ready for that, luckily she has 2 big sisters who help me keep an eye on her.

Addisen's first day of Preschool!
